NEOS Robotics Supports Catering Reception at the UK’s Largest Airshow.
At this year's Farnborough International Airshow, the organiser brought in NEOS Robotics to support event catering with robots that have been making waves across the events industry.
The robots made their debut at the welcome reception, in a room filled with delegates from across the aerospace industry. As soon as Farnborough International's CEO delivered a speech on how innovation has transformed the sector, the robots rolled into the spotlight, drawing gasps and applause from the crowd. They then led everyone into the networking room and began their tasks.
Working side by side, two robots served trays of canapés for guests to enjoy throughout the reception, while displaying event agenda on the their big screen to keep them informed. The third robot provided a convenient way to collect used glasses, allowing guests to simply place them on its trays as it passed by. Together, they created a smoother, more seamless guest experience while improving efficiency for the waitstaff.
Farnborough Airshow's Marketing Manager remarked: "The robots were a hit, and I can see why they may be appealing to other event organisers."
This is one of the examples of how NEOS Robotics supports experiential activation at events. Our team works actively with organisers to stretch traditional event functions and deliver unique event experiences - from bottomless catering with our catering robots to roaming advertisement and information support with our AI Concierge Robot, helping event teams bring the best possible experience to their guests.
